This website is targeted to explain the theory, design and simulation of RF Circuits and Systems. Initially we will focus on design and simulation of RF building blocks like Low Noise Amplifiers(LNAs), Mixers, Frequency Synthesizers, A/D and D/A converters. As a part of this process, we will brief about EDA tools and role of VHDL-AMS in behavioral modeling of RF Circuits and Systems. The widely adopted CMOS technology is considered for the present designs.

With ever increasing demand to reduce the cost and size of communication equipment, the off-chip components are moving onto the chip. The issues associated with the integration of transceiver components on to a chip will be outlined. So we will review the design and simulation of transceivers at Architectural level. This includes the design specifications, analysis, trade-offs between various parameters, etc.,

Later, the Current State of Technology and Future Trends in Wireless Communications will be reviewed.
